Survey Roles vs Workspace Roles
On OpinionX, users are assigned roles within a workspace and on individual surveys. Every member of a Workspace can create their own survey, and Workspaces have unlimited seats for survey creators.

Survey Roles Explained
There are three different roles on an OpinionX survey:
Editor: Has full permission to edit the survey setup, settings, and moderation.
Viewer: Has access to the interactive results pages, but can't change anything.
Guest: Same as a Viewer, but can access results without an OpinionX account.
Below, you can find a more detailed breakdown of each of these roles, along with detailed steps showing you how to give people these roles/access.

1. Survey Editors ✍️
Editors have full permission to edit a survey, including all survey setup functionality, moderation tools on the results pages, and access to the settings tab. Only Editors receive email notifications when new people complete your survey.
Each survey has a limited number of Editor seats based on its pricing plan:
FREE = 1 editors per survey
ANALYZE = 1 editor per survey
ACCELERATE = 5 editors per survey
ADVANCED = 25 editors per survey
Whoever creates the survey is automatically given an Editor seat. Editors are decided on a survey by survey basis, so if you have unused Editor seats on your survey, then you can add anyone you want as an Editor -- this can be an existing member of your workspace or someone from outside of your workspace.

2. Survey Viewers 👀
Viewers have access to the interactive results pages on OpinionX, but they cannot edit, delete, alter settings, or invite new collaborators to the survey team.
Every survey belongs to a workspace. All workspace teammates are automatically given Viewer access to a survey (unless you configure your Survey Privacy settings differently).

3. Survey Guest
Guests are people who have view-only access to your results without needing an OpinionX account. You can give anyone Guest access by sharing your survey's Guest Link with them.

How do you assign Survey Roles?
Go to your Survey Settings tab and scroll down to the "Add Your Team" section. Here you can add Editor (1) or Viewer (2) collaborators by email address, or copy your survey's Guest Link (3) to give many people easy access to view the results.

Can I add my teammates to my account so that they can collaborate with me on *all* my surveys?
Yes! Invite anyone to join your workspace and they'll automatically become a Viewer on all your past and future surveys. You can choose who to bump up to an Editor seat to work alongside you on setting up, moderating, and analyzing your survey.
